On Thursday, we tried using chopsticks to eat rice. We have loved learning about Asian cultures this week! Chopsticks are tricky!
At 1:00, all of the Kindergarten classes got ready for the Chinese New Year parade! We had Lion Dancers, who used the masks that we made this week, and we had a great big dragon! We learned that one person is in a lion costume to do the Lion Dance, but it takes a team of at least 10 people to be inside a dragon! (We had 3-4 volunteers from each full-day classroom inside our dragon.)
Look at how well everyone worked together to go downstairs! We had our parade all through the school!
